Who we are
Construction ONE is a bespoke Builder Contracting Company. It came about when realising that two professionals in related industries could form a company to provide each others’ clients with a unique approach to Building Projects.
Dale Cracknell, an established builder with many years’ experience and Jonathon Bensley-Byham, Founder and owner of Architecture ONE, having shared business between each other for many years, saw an opportunity to provide a direct route to an immediate design-price-construct experience for clients within Architecture ONE staged process.
It has often been said the most daunting element of having work carried out is finding a tried and tested builder. This is a true element in the years of experience of Jonathon’s exposure to so many builds over the years owning Architecture ONE’s and in larger practise prior.
Construction ONE’s concept is to eliminate this situation, and to deliver exceptional standard, with the assurance of an Architecture firm’s experience.

We’re able to draw on over 40 years’ combined experience from our deeply varied number of projects constructed by our founding partners.
We have strong links with local council Building Control departments, Structural Engineers and many sub-consultant professionals, which have been forged through many years of experience.

Extensions, New Builds & Home Improvements
Our team are experience in forming additional home leisure spaces, and undertake alteration to garages to convert to home studios, Media rooms, and entertaining areas.
Steels & Structural Alterations
We can design, organise fabrication and install all types of steel replacement structure.
Kitchens & Bathrooms
From Supply and fit to install only we can assist with all elements of your kitchen – Utility – bar area wood granite or Corian tops.
Garage Conversions & Annexes
Large or small extensions, alterations, additions and new builds we undertake all methods of construction, whether traditional masonry brick and block cavity construction, light weight timber framing – Aluminium framing or Composite preformed construction.
Landscaping & Patios
We undertake all types of block and slab paving, retaining walls and garden landscaping.

Garage Conversion
We were asked to extend a double garage for our client.
The vision was to create a Gym area and an extension for an office space – with the addition of Bi folding doors to the garden elevation.
