A little about us
Construction ONE is a bespoke Builder Contracting Company. It came about when realising that two professionals in related industries could form a company to provide each others’ clients with a unique approach to Building Projects.
Dale Cracknell, an established builder with many years’ experience and Jonathon Bensley-Byham, Founder and owner of Architecture ONE, having shared business between each other for many years, saw an opportunity to provide a direct route to an immediate design-price-construct experience for clients within Architecture ONE staged process.
It has often been said the most daunting element of having work carried out is finding a tried and tested builder. This is a true element in the years of experience of Jonathon’s exposure to so many builds over the years owning Architecture ONE’s and in larger practise prior.
Construction ONE’s concept is to eliminate this situation, and to deliver exceptional standard, with the assurance of an Architecture firm’s experience.

Our Team
Jonathon Bensley-Byham – Company Partner
Jonathon is a Co-founder and Partner in Construction ONE, Jonathon brings 24 years’ experience in Architecture and Estimating having worked in professional practise in the UK, Australia and the Middle East.
Jonathon oversees the business side of Construction ONE together with Client relationships, Marketing and Tendering processes.
Dale Cracknell – Company Partner/Site Manager/Builder
Dale is a co-founder and partner in Construction ONE, Dale brings to the business a vast level of experience and expertise, with over 18 years’ experience in the Construction Profession.
Having been involved in significant builds during his career, Dale takes an all embracing view to the Builds/Projects Construction ONE undertakes.
Dale managers all onsite processes, tracks productivity, and managers our projects from breaking ground through to handover to the Client.
Ryan Cracknell – General Builder/Site Operative
Ryan joined Construction ONE from local company Cooper and Keller during 2023, Ryan brings with him a wealth of Site operation and trade experience, Ryan plays a key role for site operations at Construction ONE he is currently involved in a variety of projects coordinating materials suppliers, subcontractor allocation and procuring materials to our sites.

Finn Benn – Site Operative
Finn started with Construction ONE in September 2022, having worked for a local landscaping company.
Finn will be working towards his city and Guilds level 2 in Construction Skills qualifications under the guidance of Dale and Ryan.
Finn is responsible for allocating materials within Site areas, keeping site set up orderly and assisting our team onsite with Construction operations.
